The Lenggrieser Hütte is located at an altitude of 1338  m in the Bavarian Prealps west of the Seekarkreuz ( 1601  m ). It is owned by the Lenggries section of the German Alpine Club . It is open all year round.

history

The hut was built in 1949 and 1950 and expanded in 2003. From October 2007 to June 2016 the hut was managed by Rita and Ewald Kirschke. The hut was awarded for its energy supply by means of a combined heat and power plant and for its sewage treatment plant .

Accesses

  • from Lenggries ( 679  m ) over
    • Hohenburg Castle , Hirschbachtal and Sulzersteig in a walking time of 2 hours,
    • Hohenburg Castle and Hirschbachsattel on one road in a walking time of 3 to 3½ hours,
    • Mühlbach and Grasleitensteig in a walking time of 2 to 2½ hours.
