The Segra Field is a football stadium in Leesburg , Virginia . It was opened in August 2019 and can accommodate up to 5000 spectators. Loudoun United from the USL Championship plays its home games here.
The stadium is located in the Phillip A. Bolen Memorial Park and in the immediate vicinity of the Loudoun Soccer Park. In addition to the stadium, this is where the training ground and the administration wing of the MLS team DC United are located . A youth academy is also to be built on the site in the future. The stadium was originally supposed to be completed at the beginning of the 2019 season, but the opening date was postponed to August of the same year. In July 2019, Segra, an independent fiber optic network provider, secured the naming rights for the stadium for a period of seven years.
On November 12, 2019, Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced that the team will play four home games at Segra Field in the 2020 season .
