history

The St. Louis Soccer Park opened in 1982 and was donated by the Anheuser-Busch Brewery , which also acquired the naming and ownership rights in 1985. During this time, the main field was expanded to 5,500 spectators. August Busch IV, former CEO of Anheuser-Busch, had his own office with bathroom and conference room in the Soccerkomplex. He runs most of his business from here.

In March 2009, the soccer organization St. Louis Soccer United took over the complex. The aim was to have a showcase for the application for a possible Major League Soccer franchise. After the application was rejected by the MLS, the women's soccer team Saint Louis Athletica played in the stadium. In the summer of 2011, the Soccer Park was sold to the local St. Louis Scott Gallagher soccer club. The company World Wide Technology bought naming rights here.
