The Seliger Bernhard church is a Catholic parish church in Gausbach (district of Forbach , Rastatt district ).

As early as 1804 and 1820, permission was unsuccessfully requested from the Princely Oberamt to be allowed to build a chapel in Gausbach. So the believers continued to visit the church in Forbach. In 1918 a chapel building fund was set up from donations and deposits, but efforts to build it were again unsuccessful. It was not until 1947 that the donation of a large building plot brought about the turning point, so that the church could be built between 1954 and 1956.

The church is dedicated to the Blessed Margrave Bernhard II of Baden and offers space for 450 believers. The large window picture in the end of the choir , designed by Rainer Dorwarth with themes from the Revelation of John and the Apocalypse , is particularly interesting . The size and color of the picture create a special atmosphere when the sun is shining, especially in the morning and evening. In the 1980s the roof and the facade were renovated, later the organ was overhauled.
