Selim Aydemir (born October 26, 1990 in Kiel ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

The striker, who was born in Kiel, began his career as a youth player at the local TuS Gaarden club , from where he joined the Werder Bremen youth department via Holstein Kiel in 2004 . In 2007 Aydemir changed clubs again and joined Eintracht Braunschweig , so that he played for this club in the 2007/08 season of the U-19 Bundesliga and scored seven goals in 23 games over the course of the season, whereupon he also took part in training for the Braunschweig men's team for the first time as well as participated in a viewing tournament of the Turkish national junior team.

Although Aydemir was used in the following season 2008/09 of the U-19 Bundesliga in this, but he was also part of the squad of the reserve team Braunschweig in the men's area, for which he made his debut on August 8, 2008 in the Oberliga Niedersachsen-Ost . With initially two goals in four missions, Aydemir was also able to recommend himself for the Eintracht professional team playing in the third division , whereupon he was used for the first time on October 29, 2008. After the winter break, however, he initially ran again for the club's U-19s. On March 26, 2009, Aydemir was released by Torsten Lieberknecht for disciplinary reasons from both the youth and men's teams in Braunschweig after he had used the tram instead of training during running training .

In the summer of 2009 Aydemir found a new club in Halleschen FC . After two years in Halle, he moved to the third division promoted Chemnitzer FC for the 2011/12 season .

On August 31, 2012, he moved to the second division VfR Aalen , where he signed a contract until June 30, 2014. After only five second division appearances in two years, his expiring contract was not extended and Aydemir returned to Halleschen FC for the 2014/15 season. After Aydemir initially knew how to convince in terms of sport, he had to be content with a place outside the squad again at times after he had missed a training session through his own fault.

After the 2015/16 season, he initially left Halle, then after a short time signed again until 2017.

In the summer of 2017, Aydemir moved to the 2nd Turkish league for promoted Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor , where he signed a contract until June 30, 2018. After the contract expired, he left Erzurumspor again, Aydemir found a new club in March 2019 with the Bosnian first division club NK Čelik Zenica .
