Sélim Azzazi (* 1975 in Lyon ) is a French sound editor , film director and film producer of Algerian descent.

Career

Azzazi was born in Lyon in 1975 and has worked in the film business since he took part in the short film Bonne résistance à la douleur . He is responsible as a sound editor and has worked on the films Alexander , Babylon AD , Micmacs - We own Paris! , Beauty and the Beast and Shut In with. He was awarded a César for his artistic performance in the film Das Konzert .

He was also better known for his short film Ennemis Intérieurs . For this work, for which he was responsible as director, producer and screenwriter, he received a nomination in the category Best Short Film at the 2017 Academy Awards , but had to admit defeat to the contribution by Kristóf Deák and Anna Udvardy .
