Semier Insayif

Semier Insayif (born September 12, 1965 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .

life and work

Semier Insayif, son of an Austrian mother and an Iraqi father, works as a freelance writer, art and culture manager, fitness consultant and communication and behavioral trainer. He also runs writing workshops in schools and in adult education.

Insayif writes poetry and prose, which he published in individual titles as well as literary magazines, art catalogs and anthologies.

Since 1998 he has been co-organizer of the literary series LITERATniktechTUR and the Siemens Literature Prize.

In 2000 Insayif received the Vienna Workshop Prize .

Semier Insayif, who is a member of the Graz Authors' Assembly , lives in Vienna.
