Senarclens-Grancy is the name of an ancient noble family from the Canton of Vaud .

history

The Senarclens-Grancy lineage begins with Henri de Senarclens around 1300. Around 1450, Grancy near Cossonay was inherited by Guillaume de Senarclens. The gender is divided into two lines:

Haanwijk country house

The older line was accepted (in the person of Onno Adolphe Willem de Senarclens de Grancy on Haanwijk) in August 1814 into the knighthood of North Brabant and received a Dutch baronate in June 1822, hereditary in primogenitur .
