Senate Sahm I.
The Senate Sahm I formed, after its election by the People's Day on December 6, from December 7, 1920 to December 10, 1924 the government of the Free City of Danzig . According to Article 25 of the Constitution of the Free City of Danzig, the Senate consisted of a President, a Deputy President, 7 full-time and 13 part-time Senators. The part-time members of the Senate, including the Deputy President, resigned from their offices after the popular elections on January 15, 1924. The posts were filled on the following day by the new People's Day. Jewelowski's resignation and the election for his post followed with a few days' delay.

- ↑ Sprenger describes that 6 honorary senators of the DNVP were elected. However, Ziehm names 7, although he counts himself as the President's deputy. According to the minutes of the meeting of the People's Day, the following part-time senators were elected in 1920: Bennecke, Karow ,kette, Pertus, Senftleben, Ziehm, Carl Fuchs, Krause, Sawatzki, Dr. Eschert, Gust. Fuchs, Foerster, Jewelowski.
