The transmitter Bremerhaven Bürgerpark was a transmitter of Radio Bremen in the public park of Bremerhaven . It was put into operation at the beginning of the 1950s as a medium wave transmitter and had a mast insulated from the ground, which later also received antennas for television and VHF transmission. Medium-wave transmission was discontinued in the 1990s and transmission was relocated to the Schiffdorf telecommunications tower in 2001 . The mast was then dismantled in segments.
