The Lorch transmitter (Rheingau) is a transmitter system for broadcasting radio signals. It is located on the left bank of the Rhine on the Wurschberg between the villages of Oberheimbach and Oberdiebach . A steel lattice tower is used as the antenna carrier.

The Hessian city of Lorch (Rheingau) on the right bank of the Rhine is supplied with radio programs from here .

Originally, the commissioning of a filling station for the four programs of the Hessischer Rundfunk was planned for the Lorch (Rheingau) location , as this city has so far been completely unsupervised (hr1 90.2 MHz, hr2 95.2 MHz, hr3 92.6 MHz, hr4 Südhessen 97.1 MHz). These plans were abandoned in 2008, after which the Deutschlandradio Kultur program was able to start broadcasting on June 27, 2012.
