Localization of Baden-Württemberg in Germany

The transmitter Riedlingen (Österberg) is a filler transmitter for radio. It is located on the Österberg, a wooded elevation about two kilometers west of downtown Riedlingen . A 69 meter high, free-standing steel lattice tower is used as the antenna carrier. Of the two broadcast houses, only the one where the connection to the broadcast mast takes place is used. The other carries an EnBW substation from which the transmission mast is supplied with electricity. The energy is supplied via a cable from Riedlingen.

From here, the city of Riedlingen and the surrounding area are supplied with the radio program Donau 3 FM .
