The Telecommunications Tower Savièse was a transmission tower for radio relay transmission in the Valais municipality of Savièse . Until 2005, this tower was also used for radio broadcasts, namely - which is unusual for such a structure - as a medium wave transmitter . For this purpose, the tower carried a long-wire antenna, over which the program of the state broadcaster Sottens was broadcast on the community wave 1485 kHz .

The transmitter also served as a filler for analog television. The following programs were broadcast from here until the DVB-T conversion:
