Sengscheid is a district of St. Ingbert , Saarland .
geography
Sengscheid is located in the southwest of St. Ingbert directly on the A 6 and the highway 126 in the Grumbachtal . In terms of water management, the district is supplied, among other things, by the Steigel spring.
history
Sengscheid was first mentioned in 1197 as Singescheit as an allod of the Wadgassen monastery . On July 1, 1936, Sengscheid came from Ensheim to St. Ingbert.
Boots
Sengscheid is the closest district of St. Ingberts to the Großer Stiefel , the local mountain of St Ingberts. On the outskirts there is a parking lot for hikers who want to visit the mountain with the famous boot rock and the Pfälzerwaldhütte.
