The Sepúlveda Point ( spanish Punta Sepúlveda ) is a headland at the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In Charlotte Bay , it marks the southern limit of the entrance to Recess Cove as the northern branch of the Eurydike Peninsula .
Participants of the 6th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1951–1952) named them after Lieutenant Hernán Sepúlveda Gore, who was part of the crew on the ship Lientur during this research trip . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 1978.
