Serafín Estébanez Calderón
Serafín Estébanez Calderón (born December 27, 1799 in Málaga , † February 5, 1867 in Madrid ) was a Spanish writer.
Estébanez Calderón moved to Madrid in 1830. He published there under the pseudonym El Solitario moral pictures from Andalusia . He is considered an important representative of the costumbrismo . Estébanez Calderón was also engaged in Arabic studies and poetry , collected manuscripts and was also politically active.
