The Serdica Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Сердика wrach Serdika ) is a 1200 m high mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Levski Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 1.8 km south of Great Needle Peak and 2.65 km north of Aytos Point . The Macy Glacier is to the west, the Bojana Glacier to the southwest and the Srebarna Glacier to the southeast of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2002 after an old name for Sofia , the capital of Bulgaria .
