Sergei Alexandrovich Petukhov

Sergei Alexandrowitsch Petuchow ( Russian Сергей Александрович Петухов , English transcription Sergey Petukhov ; * December 22, 1983 ) is a Russian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

In 2011 he became national indoor champion.

At the international level he has so far mainly appeared as a relay runner. In 2010 he was used at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to winning the gold medal for the Russian team. At the European Indoor Championships 2011 in Paris and the 2012 Indoor World Championships in Istanbul, he came fourth with the Russian relay.

In 2013 he won bronze with the Russian team at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow in the 4-by-400-meter relay.
