Sergei Alexejewitsch Rjabkow ( Russian Сергей Алексеевич Рябков ; born July 8, 1960 ) is a Russian politician. He is one of the ten deputy foreign ministers .

Life

Ryabkov graduated from the Moscow Institute for International Relations in 1982 and then started a career in the Soviet Foreign Ministry. Here he held various management positions. Between 1999 and 2005 he was at the embassy in the United States in Washington, DC , of whom from 2002 as a messenger . Ryabkov has been Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation since 2008. In this role he is responsible for Russia's relations with countries on the American double continent and with the BRICS states , arms control and negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program .

Since 2009 he has had the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Ryabkov was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland 4th Class, the Order of Honor and the Order of Friendship . He is married and has two children.
