Sergei Juljewitsch Conus ( Russian Сергей Юльевич Конюс , scientific. Transliteration Sergei Jul'evic Conus , October 5 * . Jul / 18th October  1902 greg. In Moscow ; † 26. October 1988 in Boston , Massachusetts ) was a Russian pianist and composer .

The son of Juli Konjus studied from 1920 with the pianists Isidore Philipp and Alfred Cortot . He lived as a pianist in Yugoslavia , Bulgaria , Poland , France and Morocco . Since 1959 he has taught at the Boston Conservatory .

He composed a symphony , a piano concerto , preludes and other works for the piano.
