Sergei Sergejewitsch Lesnuchin ( Russian Сергей Сергеевич Леснухин ; born February 9, 1987 in Yaroslavl , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftjanik Almetjewsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since August 2015 .
Career
Sergei Lesnuchin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl , in which he was active from 2000 to 2006. In the 2005/06 season , the winger made his debut in professional ice hockey for Disel Penza in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, parallel to the game with Yaroslavl . In the second division he also played for Kristall Saratov from 2006 to 2009 , and for Juschny Ural Orsk in the 2009/10 season .
In the summer of 2010 Lesnuchin received a contract with Vitjas Chekhov , for which he scored nine goals in 53 games in the 2010/11 season and made six assists in the Continental Hockey League .
During the Expansion Draft on June 17, 2013, Lesnuchin was selected by Admiral Vladivostok , but did not get beyond the role of a supplementary player at Admiral.
From January 2014 Lesnuchin was under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk before he moved to Neftjanik Almetyevsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League for the 2015/16 season.
