Sergei Wladimirowitsch Korjaschkin ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Коряжкин ; born December 24, 1959 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet saber fencer .
successes
Sergei Korjaschkin was world champion three times with the team : 1986 in Sofia , 1987 in Lausanne and 1989 in Denver . At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 he reached the final unbeaten with the team, in which the Soviet team separated against Hungary with 8: 8, but ultimately lost due to the slightly worse hit rate of 64:67. Together with Andrei Alschan , Michail Burzew , Heorhij Pohossow and Serhij Mindirhassow he received the silver medal.
