Sergei Wladimirowitsch Podobajew ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Подобаев , also transcribed Sergey Podobaev ; born December 4, 1989 in Achinsk ) is a Russian biathlete .
Sergei Podobajew made his international debut in the IBU Cup race in Canmore in 2012 and finished 42nd in a sprint. In the same place he won first points in the following race as 28th, another two races later he achieved his best result in the racing series in Canmore as 18th of a sprint. In Martell , he achieved a double-digit position for the first time in his second race as 99th. The 2013 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Forni Avoltri became the first international championship . In the sprint he made three mistakes and finished 24th, with six mistakes in the pursuit race based on it, he improved to 20th place.
