Andrei Wiktorowitsch Turgenew ( Russian Андрей Викторович Тургенев ; born January 5, 1989 in Achinsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian biathlete .

Andrei Turgenev made his international debut at the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , where he was 31st of the individual, 12th of the sprint, seventh in the pursuit and won the bronze medal with Nasir Rabadanov, Yevgeny Petrov and Dimitri Kononov in the relay race. This was followed by the junior races of the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää , where Turgenew was 20th in the sprint and 15th in the pursuit and won the individual title. Later in the year, he won the sprint title at the junior races of the 2010 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Duszniki-Zdrój and was fifth in the pursuit. The 2013 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Forni Avoltri became the first international men 's championship . In the sprint he stayed clear and finished 17th, with six errors in the pursuit race based on it, he improved to 14th place.
