Sergei Onopko

Sergej Onopko ( Ukrainian Сергій Онопко Serhij Onopko ; born February 3, 1985 in Kharkiv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a German actor of Ukrainian origin.

Life

Onopko was born in the former Soviet Union . He attended an art school in his hometown of Kharkiv. As a supporting actor, he worked in several international film productions, including a. in the action film Die Hard - A Good Day to Die (2013, as Alik's Soldier , one of the assistants in the ballroom shootout), in the comedy film Spy - Susan Cooper Undercover (2015, as Hristo), and in the horror film Don't Breathe (2016), where he played Trevor, the friend of the mother of one of three main characters.

Onopko also took on roles in several international series, including a. in Strike Back (2015) and Emerald City - The Dark World of Oz (2017). In the Canadian-Hungarian agent thriller series X Company (2016) he had an episode role as German Wehrmacht soldier Bader. He also had an episode role as the warrior Boltan in the British historical television series The Last Kingdom in 2017 .

He played one of the main roles, the performance artist Ilja, in the German film Expectations (2016), a story about four couples, alongside Maike von Bremen . He also worked several times for German television. He started out as a joiner Danilo, a deserter from the Russian army, in the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig (2014). In the TV mini-series Neandertaler (first broadcast: September 2016) produced by RTL II , he played a leading role as Rüdiger Vogt, where he was the ambitious henchman of a former genetics professor . In November 2017 Onopko was seen in a leading role in the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart ; he played the former archer Sven Haller, who was blinded by an accident .

Onopko also worked as a model in the fashion and fitness area, and as a personal fitness trainer. He lives in Griesheim near Darmstadt and Budapest .
