Sergio Pola
Sergio Pola (born November 1, 1674 in Treviso ; † February 9, 1748 there ) was titular bishop of Famagusta .
Life
He came from an old noble family of the Counts Pola , who lived in Italy and Bohemia . On May 24, 1698, he received the sacrament of ordination and initially worked in Padua . In 1706 he turned down the offer to become Bishop of Adria and instead became titular bishop of Famagusta . He received his episcopal ordination in November 1706 the Bishop of Padua , Cardinal Giorgio Cornaro ; The co-consecrator was Giovanni Francesco Barbarigo , the Bishop of Verona . Sergio Pola took part in the beatification of Cardinal Gregorio Barbarigo .
He died in Treviso in 1748 and was buried in the local church of Santa Caterina.
