The Roman Catholic Diocese of Adria-Rovigo ( lat. : Dioecesis Adriensis-Rhodigiensis , ital. : Diocese of Adria-Rovigo ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Rovigo . However, the cathedral is located in the Adriatic Sea .

history

In the 7th century the diocese of Adria was established. On September 30, 1986, the Congregation for the Bishops renamed it the Diocese of Adria-Rovigo by decree Instantibus votis .

The diocese Adria-Rovigo is subordinate to the Patriarchate of Venice as a suffragan .
