The Roman Catholic Diocese of Belluno-Feltre ( lat. : Dioecesis Bellunensis-Feltrensis , ital. : Diocese of Belluno-Feltre ) is in Italy situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Belluno .
history
The Diocese of Belluno-Feltre was established as the Diocese of Belluno in the 2nd century . In 1197 the diocese of Feltre was attached to the diocese of Belluno . The diocese of Belluno and Feltre was again divided into the dioceses of Belluno and Feltre in 1462.
The diocese of Belluno was again affiliated to the diocese of Feltre on May 1, 1818 by Pope Pius VII with the Apostolic Constitution De salute Dominici gregis . On September 30, 1986, the diocese of Belluno and Feltre through was the Congregation for Bishops with the decree Instantibus votis in Diocese of Belluno-Feltre renamed.
The diocese of Belluno-Feltre is subordinate to the Patriarchate of Venice as a suffragan .
