Sergio Gonzalo Rodríguez Budes (born January 5, 1985 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.84-meter-tall defensive player Rodríguez was at the beginning of his career from the beginning of 2005 and after a short-term loan engagement at Maccabi Tel Aviv from the end of August 2005 to the end of November that year until the Apertura 2009 in the Danubio FC squad . Three personally goalless appearances in the mid-season 2005 followed after his return across seasons 100 completed games in the Primera División , in which he scored four goals. His club became Uruguayan champions in 2006/07.
At the end of January 2010, he continued his career with another loan at Quilmes AC in Argentina . After 17 appearances (no goal) in the Primera B Nacional , he left the club in the middle of the year and joined Rosario Central . He played twelve times at the club from Rosario in the Primera B Nacional and hit the opposing goal once.
From mid-July 2011 to the beginning of September 2011, Baniyas SC was his employer. This was followed from October 2011 to July 2012 a station with the Montevideo Wanderers , for which he played 17 times in the top Uruguayan league in the 2011/12 season and scored two goals.
He then played for two years at the Argentine club Atlético Belgrano . In 2012/13 he played 16 (one goal) and 2013/14 14 games (no goal) in the Primera División and one encounter (no goal) each of the Copa Sudamericana and the Copa Argentina . He then moved to Atlético Tucumán in July 2014 . There he was used three times (no goal) in the Primera B Nacional.
In February 2015 he moved to Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba . For this club he ran 54 times in the Primera B Nacional and scored three goals. He also has two goalless appearances in the Copa Argentina. He joined Independiente Rivadavia in mid-August 2016 . So far (as of August 16, 2017) he has played 29 league games there (two goals).
National team
Rodríguez was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 selection , which took part in the U-20 South American Championship in Colombia in 2005 . At least in June 2007 he was a member of the U-23 team of Uruguay, which was supervised by Roland Marcenaro .
