Yesim Servet Uzunlar (born March 8, 1989 in Caringbah near Sydney ) is an Australian national soccer player of Turkish origin.
youth
In her youth she played for the North Sutherland Rockets from 2001 and returned to the club in the spring to switch to the NSW Academy of Sport, where she played for the Sutherland Shire Reps while studying. In February 2004, she moved to NSW Sapphires White, which acts as the sports team of the New South of Wales Institute of Sport.
Career

In 2009 she began her professional career in the W-League for Sydney FC , where Uzunlar was Australian soccer champion in her first year. In the summer of 2010 she left her native Australia and moved to Ottawa Fury in Canada. After two months, she received an offer from Danish champions Fortuna Hjörring and played four games in the UEFA Women's Champions League for them . In December 2010, she returned to Sydney FC . After a short interlude with W-League participant Pali Blues in summer 2012, Uzunlar switched to Western Sydney Wanderers , where she was active until the beginning of 2014. At the end of 2014, and again from the 2016/17 season, she will play again for Sydney FC.
National team
For Australia she took part in the U-20 Women's World Cup in Russia in 2006 , where Uzunlar was used in all 3 group games. Uzunlar has played in the Australian team since 2008 and has played 14 international matches so far. In July 2011 she was nominated for the Matildas in the squad for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany .
