The street Severinweg 1-5, 7 is a listed street in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The street listed in the Quedlinburg monument register is located north of the historic Quedlinburg city center. The Severinweg branches off to the north of the Lindenstraße from.

Architecture and history

The street was built in the suburbs near the former Kleersmühle . On the west side there are three half -timbered houses built in the first half of the 19th century . The two side houses are subordinate to the middle house. This arrangement is reminiscent of baroque principles. The facades are structured strictly symmetrically in the classical style. Each of the houses has a large dwelling . The cornices are profiled. There are large skylights above the front doors .

At the back of the houses there are remains of an already existing garden. There is a wall made of sandstone to the south towards Lindenstrasse .

The former factory building of Carl Beck & Comp, registered as an individual monument, is located on the west side of the street . Seed cultivation and wholesale .
