Sevier Nunatak

The Sevier Nunatak is an approximately 1000  m high nunatak on the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It looms over the southern end of the Walton Mountains .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Lieutenant Commander Moses T. Sevier, Deputy Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics in the Reserve Forces of the United States Navy in Operation Deep Freeze in 1969 and 1970 and previously assistant supplies officer in the VX-6 squadron during Operation Deep Freeze in 1957 and 1958.
