Seanch-en-Re-sewadjtu
S.ˁnḫ-n-Rˁ-sw3ḏtw The one
who is animated by Re , Man (= the King) lets flourish

Seanchenre Sewadjtu was an ancient Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the 13th Dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ), who is called in the Turin Royal Papyrus and supposedly for three years and two months (days are not preserved) from around 1694 to around 1691 BC. Or from around 1654 to around 1651 BC. Should have ruled.

Seanchenre Sewadjtu is assumed as a proper and throne name , and the king appears next to the mention in the royal papyrus Turin (7.5) possibly also in the royal list in Karnak . A ruler by the name of Sewadjenre is led there. This form of the name is perhaps a prescription from Seanch-en-Re. Older authors have read both names as one. No contemporary monuments of him have been found so far.

Griffith Institute, Oxford 1997, ISBN 0-900416-48-3 , illustration 3; The presentation of the entry in the Turin papyrus, which differs from the usual syntax for hieroboxes, is due to the fact that open cartridges were used in the hieratic . The alternating "sometimes-missing-sometimes-presence" of certain name elements is due to material damage in the papyrus.
