Seweryn Gancarczyk [ sɛˈvɛrɨn ganˈtsartʃɨk ] (born November 22, 1981 in Dębica , Poland ) is a Polish football player .

Career

society

After starting his career with the provincial clubs Podkarpacie Pustynia and Hetman Zamość , the defender moved to Ukraine in 2002 . There he first played for Arsenal Kiev and Volyn Lutsk . From the 2005/06 season he played for Metalist Kharkiv . Here he always showed strong performances in the league and also in the UEFA Cup and became one of the best full-backs in the Ukrainian league. For the 2009/10 season he moved back to his native Poland to Lech Poznań . His contract there expired in summer 2011. After half a year without a club, he signed a contract with ŁKS Łódź until the end of the 2011/12 season. After relegation, he moved to Górnik Zabrze . Here he was mostly a regular player for three seasons and made 62 league games and 1 goal. For the 2015/2016 season he moved to GKS Tychy in the 3rd Polish league. In his first third division season Gancarcyzk was able to rise with Tychy and played two more seasons in the second division. For the second half of the 2017/2018 season, he moved to third division club Rozwój Katowice .

National team

It wasn't until May 2, 2006 that he played his first international match for Poland, but two weeks later he was appointed to the Polish squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany by national coach Paweł Janas . Here, however, he did not play a single game. In total, he played seven times for Poland .
