Sex movie
A sex film is a type of film that mainly depicts sexual acts. In contrast to the porn film , the sexual act is only simulated and genitals are not shown in a excited state. Compared to erotic films , sexual representation has a higher priority in the plot. Sex films may e.g. B. be broadcast in Germany on freely accessible television , but only after a time set by the state media authorities (usually 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.).
With the increasing industrialization of the porn industry and the easier availability of pornography through playback systems such as VHS and DVD, the sex film genre petered out in the cinema as early as the 1980s.
