Life

He came to Munich with his parents in 1964 . The family returned to Italy after only three years, but Rinaldo Talamonti stayed in Germany against his father's wishes. He worked as a waiter and received his first film role in 1968 from Alois Brummer in the production Graf Porno und seine Mädchen .

In eleven years, Talamonti was seen in around 40 films of this genre and almost exclusively used the cliché of the permanently erotic southerners. He also appeared in several adventure films .

In 1978 he ended his acting career for the time being and set up an agency for Italian shoes with his wife Roswitha. In 1993 they opened the “Buon Gusto Talamonti” bistro in downtown Munich, which was soon expanded into a restaurant and which they ran until the beginning of 2012. In 1996 Talamonti ran for the FDP in the Munich local elections .

Occasionally Rinaldo Talamonti is now back in films ( High Crusade - Fricassee in space ) and TV series.

The documentary film The Dream of the Father by Michael Chauvistré and Miriam Pucitta , broadcast by ARTE in 2006, portrayed the career of the Talamonti family over three generations.

In 2008, Rinaldo was awarded the title of Cavaliere dell ' Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana ("Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity"), an award for Italians living abroad who have earned services for Italy, at the Italian consulate in Munich .
