Alpenglüh'n im Dirndlrock is a German soft sex comedy by Siggi Götz from 1974.

action

The winter snow-covered village of Vögelbrunn in deep Bavaria is threatened with financial bankruptcy. The number of tourists has recently fallen significantly, and the mayor Sepp Ploderer urgently needs a saving idea in order to be able to return to the black in the picturesque village. In order to achieve the required status of a market town, which would secure Vögelbrunn funding in the millions, he only has to initiate one tiny thing: the village has to get bigger, the citizens have to multiply! The nest lacks seven inhabitants to achieve this status, and since the place already has birding in its name, this goal should be achievable, thinks the village council.

That is why Ploderer is offering a premium to all babies who are in the country by the next census against the express protest of the local pastor and the skeptical Hedda, chairwoman of the recently founded Society for Morality and Decency, who consider this idea to be morally reprehensible be conceived. It almost seems like a blessing that one day the always willing and potent Italian Roberto Ravioli, who is passing through, reaches Vögelbrunn. So why shouldn't this papagallo make the women of Vögelbrunn happy and thus provide the urgently needed blessing for children? Well, Signore Ravioli doesn't mind. But only six women get pregnant, the goal seems to be within reach and yet there is a risk of collapse shortly before reaching it. Then Vögelbrunn received the saving message that one of the girls Roberto climbed will give birth to twins.

Alpenglüh'n im Dirndlrock was created from January 10th to January 30th 1974 in Lofer, Austria, and in and around Schloss Ort .

Robert Fabiankovich provided the equipment. Erich Tomek , who wrote the screenplay under the pseudonym Florian Burg and also took on a tiny servant role, was in charge of production. Claudia Krebs designed the costumes. The world premiere took place on March 21, 1974

criticism

The lexicon of international films simply called the film a "clumsy sex comedy."
