Jeff and Jim are two adventurers who make their way through South America and get caught up in the most hair-raising adventures just as constantly as they are knocking on their words. "Scoundrel" Jeff is a whole guy, stubborn and a bit dumb, has the exact opposite at his side in the tall "scoundrel" Jim: He is often in the mood for jokes and is a happy bully. In their high-spirited manner, the two men have so far fought many a fight with the Colombian police. But now a lucrative job beckons. Production notes
Jungle Girls for Two Scoundrels , also known as Two Devil Guys on the Way to a Green Hell , was filmed in the high altitudes of Colombia in 1973 and premiered on March 6, 1974. The dialogue director on site in Colombia was called Fernando Orozco. The film was continued in 1975 with Two Devil Guys on the Way to the Monastery with the same two leading actors.
Despite the stresses and strains caused by the climate, leading actors Wolf Goldan and Robert Widmark completed all action scenes without a double.
Géza von Cziffra and producer Theo Maria Werner wrote the script under pseudonyms.
