Greetings from the Lederhose II. Part: Two buddies on the Alm

Liebesgrüße aus der Lederhose is a German erotic comedy from 1973 by director Franz Marischka , which founded the film genre of Lederhosen films. The film was made in 1972 in the Pfronten area and was premiered on March 15, 1973 .

action

Callboy Alfredo finally wants to relax and is on vacation in the Bavarian mountains. However, he has to experience that he has a lot of competitors here. Tourists from all over the world come to the Hotel Zum wilden Eber to have an experience with whole men, especially host Sepp Eber himself. Alfredo is hired by the rival restaurant Zum müden Ochsen , which is then named Zum fierigen Stier . However, he leaves the main work to his friend Tonio, to whom it is ultimately thanks that the restaurant receives an excellent rating. The love-hungry women all get their money's worth, only the rival innkeepers give each other a physical argument.

background

Franz Marischka had the idea for this work in 1972 on the basis of an article in the Münchner tz entitled Die Saisongockel von Garmisch-Partenkirchen about the alleged wishes of tourists to their Bavarian hosts.

The film established the specifically Bavarian-Alpine form of the erotic film and found numerous successors and imitators. At the same time, it meant the beginning of a remarkable career for the then hardly known folk singer Peter Steiner . Greetings from the Lederhose was an overwhelming success and, according to Franz Marischka, caused an enormous increase in tourism in Pfronten .

Reviews

“This is Lederhosen slapstick that nobody thinks seriously good, but still cultivated. It's all about sex, and the stupid Bavarian stereotype in traditional costumes and lederhosen gets new nourishment here. Bubbly women, fresh dumb blondes, stupid men and leather jokes meet here and although everything is incredibly bad, everything is totally crazy again. "

- Haiko's film dictionary

“Bavarian boys bang hot blondes (on vacation). A really intellectual pleasure. "

- Heyne Film Lexicon, 1996
