Seyfettin Kurtulmuş (born August 19, 1973 in Chaskowo ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach .
Player career
In the club
Kurtulmuş began his career in 1991 at Gebzespor in the 3rd division . In his first season for Gebzespor Kurtulmuş came to 28 league appearances and scored two goals. In the winter break of 1992/93 Galatasaray Istanbul signed the midfielder. Kurtulmuş made his debut for the yellow-reds on May 2, 1993 against Sarıyer SK . His coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp changed him in the 84th minute of the game for Torsten Gütschow . At the end of this season he was Turkish champion at Galatasaray.
In the summer of 1993 Kurtulmuş moved to the 2nd division to Denizlispor . After the 1993/94 season Kurtulmuş rose with his teammates in the first division. Kurtulmuş played for Denizlispor for seven years. This was followed by Kardemir Karabükspor , Kırklarelispor , Tekirdağspor and Denizli Belediyespor .
In the national team
In 1990 Kurtulmuş played twice for the Turkish U-16s. This was followed by 36 international matches for the Turkish U-18s, and Kurtulmuş was also U-18 European champion in 1992 .
Coaching career
Kurtulmuş trained the youth team of Denizlispor at the beginning of his coaching career. From 2008 to 2010 he was an assistant coach at Denizli Belediyespor. Kurtulmuş returned to Denizlispor in 2011 and took over a youth team a second time. He then worked for Kızılcabölükspor for five years .
Kurtulmuş has been assistant trainer at Karacabey Belediyespor since August 2018 .
