action
Ram is the son of the colonial police chief Raibahadur Dwarkadas. Against his father's wishes, he joins a group of freedom fighters. His childhood friend Sheela saves him from captivity several times. However, she is forced to marry the evil policeman Vinod, who in return releases her brother Gopal and promises to save Ram.
In the end, Ram is on trial for terrorist activities and is defended by his repentant father. But none of this helps, because it turns out that Ram is guilty. Consequently Ram is hanged. Sheela also dies and is now united with Ram in death.
