Shahpura is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan .
Shahpura is located in the Jaipur district in Tehsil of the same name , 55 km north-northeast of the district capital Jaipur . Shahpura is 180 km southwest of the federal capital New Delhi . The national highway NH 8 (Jaipur – Delhi ) runs through the city. At the 2011 census, Shahpura had 33,895 inhabitants. The city of the status of a municipality is divided into 25 wards .
