Shake Shake Go is a British indie folk band from London. The quintet around lead singer Poppy Jones consists of Marc Le Goff, Kilian Saubusse, Virgile Rozand and Toby Barnett. By performing live as a supporting act for Dan Croll , King Charles and James Blunt , the band was able to build a small but solid fan base. Shake Shake Go have also been on the road in Germany thanks to their role as support for Talisco's Germany tour .

history

Poppy Jones and Marc Le Goff first worked together around 2010. They met at the Music College in London and soon started writing songs. Two to three years later, the duo decided to form a band. The band's name was chosen by a young boy who won the tender that the music group used to search for a name. In December 2014 the group released their debut single England Skies and on March 9, 2015 their first EP, which is named after the band themselves and contains four tracks.

style

Lead singer Poppy Jones cited the indie rock band Arcade Fire , the singers Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield and the rock band Oasis as influences on the musical style in an interview , but says that this list does not include all influences by far.
