Shakya Chogden ( Tib . Shakya mchog ldan ; * 1428 ; † 1507 ) was an important spiritual dignitary of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism . He was a student of Rongtön Shecha Kunrig ( rong ston shes bya kun rig ; 1367-1449) alias Rongtön Mawe Sengge ( rong ston smra ba'i seng ge ) from the Sakya school, the founder of the Nalendra monastery .

In 1469 Shakya Chogden founded the monastery Thubten Serdogchen or Thupten Serdokchen ( thub bstan gser mdog can ) in the south of Xigazê .

His biography was of Künga Drölchog ( kun dga 'grol mchog ; 1507-1565 / 1566), the lineage holder of Jonangpa - Kalachakra - transmission line written.
