Shantelle Larissa Malawski , known by her ring name Taylor Wilde , (born January 26, 1986 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a former Canadian wrestler .

Career

Beginnings

Malawski began her wrestling career in June 2003. In 2004 she was part of a wrestling documentary, Slam Bam, on the Discovery Channel .

In 2005 she received her first title with her then employer New Vision Pro Wrestling. She also went to Monterrey , Mexico to improve her Lucha Libre style. Together with Kevin Nash , Andrew Test Martin and Scott Steiner , she took part in a tour with three shows in South Africa in December 2005 . Also in December, she was invited to a rehearsal in Buffalo , New York , for World Wrestling Entertainment .

Malawski then worked for various independent promotions.

World Wrestling Entertainment

In May 2006 Malawski signed a development contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and was used in the junior division Deep South Wrestling . In January 2007, she appeared on a Smackdown / ECW house show as Sensai, a masked Japanese wrestler, and competed against Jamie Noble . In June she fought in further dark matches before the SmackDown! -TV recordings, also with mask.

On August 13, 2007, the contract was terminated.

Total non-stop action wrestling

In May 2008 Malawski signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling . In a dark match in front of the TNA iMPACT! on April 16, 2008 she lost to Raisha Saeed.

From May 29, 2008 she was finally introduced into the main program by accepting the $ 25,000 challenge from Awesome Kong in the storyline , but initially had to lose. In the rematch she received the TNA Women's Knockout Championship as Taylor Wilde against Kong . After 121 days, she lost on TNA iMPACT! in Las Vegas her title again to Awesome Kong. From September 20, 2009 to January 4, 2010, she and Sarita held the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship . After a feud with her former partner Sarita, she got a new tag team partner with Hamada at the end of July. In their first match they won the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship from The Beautiful People ( Lacey Von Erich and Velvet Sky ). On December 6, 2010, she had to give up the title due to Hamada's release. Shortly afterwards, Malawski was also released.

In an interview with The Sun on January 10, 2011, she announced the end of her career so that she could concentrate on studying psychology in the future. On February 5, 2011, she played her last match.
