Shaun Hutchinson (born November 23, 1990 in Newcastle upon Tyne ) is an English football player .
Club career
Shaun Hutchinson, who was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, initially played in his youth for the Wallsend Boys Club for which Alan Shearer , Steve Bruce , Peter Beardsley and Michael Carrick also played. At the age of 16, Hutchinson moved to Motherwell FC in Scotland . At the club from the North Lanarkshire region, he played in his youth until he was 18. Together with Jonathan Page , the defensive player also signed his first professional contract with FCM . For The Well , Hutchinson made his professional debut in May 2011 in the league game against Hamilton Academical . In the 2010/11 season he reached the cup final against Celtic Glasgow with Motherwell, playing 90 minutes in the 3-0 defeat. He scored his first goal in the Dossers jersey in the 8-1 victory in the Europa League against the Albanian club KS Flamurtari Vlora . In June 2011, Hutchinson extended his contract by three years until 2014. In the 2011/12 season , Hutchinson was named Young Professional of the Month for May. In June 2014 he moved to Fulham on a free transfer .
