Shawan Keith Robinson (born September 7, 1983 in Boone , North Carolina ) is a retired American basketball player . He played for the LTi 46ers from Gießen in the German Basketball Bundesliga in the 2007/08 season , then moved to the Deutsche Bank Skyliners from Frankfurt am Main for the 2008/2009 season . There he could not prevail, however, and left the team after his tryout contract had expired.

The North Carolina- raised Shawan Robinson began his first NCAA season at Clemson University in the 2002-2003 season. After graduating in 2006, he moved to the British Eagles from Newcastle upon Tyne in the British Basketball League , with which he was British basketball champion straight away.
