Shealeigh

Shealeigh (* 1998 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American singer and songwriter . She gained greater fame through the talent show Radio Disney's Next Big Thing , which she won in 2011.

life and career

Shealeigh began singing at the age of two. She started writing her own songs when she was ten. Her role models are: Adele , Taylor Swift and Beyoncé . She can play guitar and piano .

At the age of twelve, Shealeigh posted her cover version of the song Shark in the Water on YouTube . After Ellen DeGeneres became aware of her in 2010, she invited Shealeigh to join her on the show. Shealeigh was finally able to perform the song live with Ellen.

In 2011 she took part with Zack Montana , Ladina Spence , Hollywood Ending and Tay Barton in the fourth season of the talent show Radio Disney's Next Big Thing , which was organized by the Walt Disney Company . In the final broadcast on December 7, 2011, she prevailed against her remaining competitor Zack Montana and won the casting show with the song What Can I Say .
