Sheila Larken

Sheila Larken (born February 24, 1944 ) is an American television actress best known for playing Margaret Scully, mother of Dana Scully in the X-Files: The FBI's Creepy Cases .

life and career

Sheila Larken was born in Brooklyn , New York and has guest appearances on television series such as Bonanza , Gunsmoke , Medical Center , Marcus Welby, MD , Hawaii Five-O , Barnaby Jones , Starsky and Hutch , Trapper John, MD , Our Little Farm , Rawhide , The Incredible Hulk , Dallas and LALaw . She also appeared in No Exit Out , the final episode of the anthology series Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected (known in the UK as Twist in the Tale ). She also took part in the television films Attack on Terror: The FBI vs. the Ku Klux Klan (1975), Cave-In! (1983) and The Hour of Midnight (1985).

Sheila Larken currently resides in Bellingham , Washington with her husband, television producer RW Goodwin. Both have three children, two of whom are from their marriage.
