Sheila McKinnon
Sheila McKinnon is a Canadian photographer and journalist .
Life
McKinnon lives most of her life in Italy . She is married to an Italian and is actually called Sheila Nardulli. She is the mother of the actress Cariddi Nardulli and the child star Itaco Nardulli, who died in an accident .
McKinnon works as a photographer and journalist in Asia , Africa and Europe . Her work has appeared in international magazines and newspapers such as The New York Times , Los Angeles Times and Newsweek , but also in many Italian and German publications such as Die Welt . McKinnon also works with humanitarian organizations such as UNICEF and FAO .
Her exhibition Invisible Women and the Environment was presented by the Italian Ministry of Environment in April 2009 during the G8 meeting in Syracuse , Sicily .
